I'm a huge fan of Johannes Cabal, the most charmingly acerbic protagonist known to mankind (or at least Morgankind) who stars in a series of darkly hilarious and brilliantly written novels that are also... well, I won't spoil anything. But! Here he is. Pointin' a gun. No, he's not very nice, but he's entertaining regardless.
The first book is "Johannes Cabal the Necromancer", it's by Jonathan L. Howard, go check it out, don't make me beat you up.
There's no real background because my brain ran off screaming not long after I finished the line art, gibbering something about "No more hats, I'm not drawing any more hats."
This took way too long, somebody teach me how to colour, I need to go lie down now.
[I wonder, who wants to recommend to me novels with a scientist protagonist?]
[Because clearly I have a thing for scientist protagonists.]
[I mean my two favourite literary characters are both scientists, there's definitely a theme here.]

I think the gun in the book was a lot bigger. It didn't so much put a hole in a man's head as leave a hole where a man's head should be.
