Some time ago, I had the wild, fanciful idea to crossover one of my favourite books, Good Omens, with the hair-raisingly crass anime Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt.
No. No, I don't know either.
Okay, look, you have a show with two angels versus a book with one angel plus one former angel: close enough, isn't it?!... Anyway, Aziraphale and Crowley in the show's distinct art style. Bam.
Aziraphale with a flaming sword is obvious, but for Crowley, I turned what was originally a gun into a plant mister. Don't splash that holy water on yourself, now!
This isn't the first time I've crossed them over, either. if you dig enough you may find a couple more examples of my handiwork, possibly, no promises So ashamed. So ashamed.
This is a parody of some offical P&S artwork (plus the show's logo) from Newtype magazine, so I can't claim any credit for the poses: [link] here is the original image I based this on.
It wasn't my intention to have this crossover work that way, but if you use your imagination, maybe! I mean, you can't see Aziraphale's right sock, can you? And as for Crowley's plant mister... Oh, well, maybe it's best not to think too hard about that one.
Heck yeah, always good to rewatch and reread both these things! ...Wait, not that I'm copping to secretly enjoying and endorsing Panty and Stocking or anything, nope, not my style of comedy at all, I sure didn't watch it and have fun, nuh-uh.
Also, it's great to see someone who actually knows/has researched what a 'flaming bar of magnesium' vaguely looks like, heh.
Ps: Dare I ask which garments they use to get those weapons? Or doesn't it work that way in this crossover? =3
I need to go rewatch and re-read both things involved in this now
