So well detailed a colored. Good job on this gijinka again.

Now, I'd have to agree with only half of your Buizel comment... the obnoxiously orange part. Everybody seems to adore this Pokémon, and I seem to have a rather definite '' expression regarding it. But you have indeed reached the 'cuteness zen' with this Buizel-boi. Just pulling from your Wingull description;

"I find the mark of a really good gijinka is that you can tell what they're supposed to be without having to look at a description."

I didn't get that so much with the Wingull. (For me, Wingull's are all about straight lines, y'know? They have such stiff wings, and although you've got the whole line-and-pattern thing going, it just didn't really capture the Pokémon for me) but with this it screeeeams out! Not only have you incorporated the features of the Poké really well (I've actually run up an image search just to compare with sheer admiration) but you really captured what I believe is the feel of Buizel. (If we could be so brash as to stereotype an entire species to a single 'look') Playful otter. Hoohah! I have earned new respect for this Pokémon, :3 If only they could make it look as cute as you did~

Now with the bui-shoes, all I can think of it is that with the foot that's facing foreward, although you have foreshortening and all that down pat nicely, the little blue bits appear to stick out from the /middle/ of the shoe, whilst on his left shoe, they're quite clearly further back, towards the heel. Methinks that's what might be that squirming just-out-of-mind 'something' bugging thing of them.

But yeah, other than that... really difficult to critique. Absolutely beautiful~! Go you XD

You know, I agree with you about the Wingull; she was bothering me, because she just didn't feel... seagull-y enough! I think with that one I focused more on the costume as opposed to the whole package. Whereas with Buizel, I got so fed up trying to come up with a decent design that I just kind of let loose, and I guess that haphazard playfulness came through. I'm glad!

Darn them feet, I always have such a hard time drawing them properly! XD I can never seem to draw shoes properly (can't seem to make anything symmetrical, either).
